KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year. The Drake women's soccer program accumulated a 3.56 team grade point average during the 2022-23 academic year.
A total of 823 soccer teams (320 men, 503 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. Of that total, 188 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
